Hello all,

Set strike is tonight at 6pm. All help is needed and welcomed (including screw guns!!!).
Thanks Lisa for bringing the trailer.

We need to strike the complete set and take everything to the warehouse.
Also clean dressing room and the wings of costumes and props.

Brush-Up Rehearsal Wed September 30

Good day Cast and Crew,

It will be good to see everyone tonight after a couple of days apart.

Tonight's rehearsal is a Brush-Up rehearsal at 7pm
We will run the show top to bottom, and then work any problem areas afterwards. No costumes or make-up tonight. We will run full lighting and set changes.

I want to emphasize the importance of having a fun, yet serious rehearsal tonight. We have to give our full attention to the show to reinvigorate, re-energize, and get pumped for 3 more performances.

Reminders:
- Cast Photo forms are backstage. Order your cast photos before end of show on Saturday.

- Cast Party Saturday Night after the show in the Little Theatre. Bring a snack or beverage to share. We will have KARAOKE!!!

- Turn in your scripts/scores Thur-Sat, 6:30-7:00pm each night and get your $20.00 deposit back. You can turn them into Victoria.

- Set Strike will be Monday Oct 5 at 6pm - please please please come and help us take the set completely down and over to the warehouse. We will need many hands and screwguns; as well as cleaning dressing rooms and green room.

Saturday night, after the show in the Little Theatre (that's Oct 2).

Sign-up sheets to bring snacks or a non-alcoholic beverage will be up in the Green Room on Wed.

That's right, we have a Karaoke machine with over 2500 songs coming for the party!!!!

Great Job Cast and Crew!!!

Great job and congratulations to the Cast and Crew of Joseph. The first weekend of shows was very well-done and absolutely amazing. You performed for 1172 people over the weekend and the theatre is extremely lucky to have everyone involved and committed to the production. Well done!!!

Now a couple of days to rest and relax......then back at it.

Wednesday September 30 - Brush-Up rehearsal at 7pm.
This is a top-to-bottom run-through of the show with cast AND crew.
No costumes or make-up - other than Joseph's coat and any other costume bits people want to practice with.
This is a very important rehearsal as it allows us to get back into the show and back to performance level.

Excellent work over the weekend everyone - the show is coming together quite nicely and we continue to polish and tighten it up. Joseph is a gift we are creating and wrapping up in all your talent, excitement, and enthusiasm and we get six opportunities to give that gift to family, friends, and total strangers for them to enjoy.

We will run the first song, note it, run it again and go to the next one, run it , note it, run it again, go to the next one, etc. We will end up then doing each number twice tonight (same format for Tuesday for Act Two)

I will be at theatre starting at 6pm to be available for questions, review, etc. All adults with scrubs bring them tonight so the costumer can see if they need hemmed - our call, not yours - sorry folks-can't have you tripping on them.

Cast of Joseph wear hospital scrubs donated by Dr. William Fritz to the show & theatre. The scrubs will be part of the ensemble costume for the show.

"When the concept of using medical scrubs as part of the costume came up, we just thought it was natural to get one of the local surgeons involved," said producer Victoria Beal. "Dr. Fritz generously offered to buy all the suits we needed. Now, thanks to Dr. Fritz, the theatre has 30 sets of scrubs that will be used for this show and I'm sure you'll recognized bits and pieces in Barrow shows for years to come!" Beals continued.

Set Update:
The Set is basically DONE! Thank you to everyone who helped out today! All the platforms, ramps, and escape steps are DONE. All platforms are faced with foam - only minor foam coverings and base painting to go. Thanks for all the hard work today everyone who came.

Set Construction Day: Sat Aug 29

We're building set on Saturday Aug 29 10am-6pm.

The scissor lift arrives at 8am to be driven up the lobby into the theatre.

When a crew arrives, it's a warehouse run for the wood, foam and other materials to build the platform legs and fronts. Goal this weekend is to get platforms UP and foam on the faces of the platforms and temple. Then as that gets down, base paint everything...

Our Detailing Artist will be painting and detailing the proscenium Sat and Sun....

Lots to do for people who can wield screwguns, run the table saw, and help gather set pieces and materials. Need your help

Headshots will be taken tonight/Thursday for all adult cast without previous headshots.

Set Construction Saturday 10am-6pm - warehouse run, elevating platforms, foam and painting. Help is needed, esp with wood cutting and nailing/screwing platforms....

Disco Lights Needed

Hello world - we are looking for disco lights like this - the rotating ball with colored lenses lit from inside.

We need 10-12 for the show and are looking to borrow them. If you have one that can be lent, please let us know - email me at tedsmith.patio@gmail.com so we can make arrangements.

NOTE: 8pm Children's Chorus meets on their costumes. Please bring shorts, socks, footwear you have to try on with shirts at the theatre, upstairs dressing room at 8pm with Mrs. Zlotniki.

Rehearsal Monday August 24

Rehearsal on Monday Aug 24 is a Stage Rehearsal

6pm-7pm Potipher (Potiphar, Joseph, Narrator, Bankers)
7pm-8pm Joseph's Coat (Narrator, Joe, Brothers, Wives, Jacob, Children)
8pm-9pm Poor Poor Joseph (Narrator, Joe, Brothers, Children)

We are on the MAIN STAGE - please use Buffalo St. Ramp Door at rear of theatre.
Dress comfortably and wear close-toed shoes as we are on a working stage and set construction has started.

Set Update

The Joseph set has been started....platforms are laid out on the floor awaiting their legs and the frame of the temple/projection screen has been erected....thanks Jordan.

Set construction on Saturday Aug 29 10am-6pm - painting proscenium and placing legs on platforms to build their height.....all help is needed if possible.
